Stonehenge: (History)
    In the South West of England is one of Britain's great natural treasures. Stonehenge is located just two miles (three Kilometers) west of Amesbury, Wiltshire in the country of England. Stonehenge is a series of earth, timber, and stone structures in the lowland of Salisbury Plain.

The great mystery surrounding these structures include the following:
Who built these structures?
What was the purpose of the structures?
How did the constructors manage such a feat? Common belief is that approximately 5000 years ago, the Druids began construction on the site for the purpose of religious ceremony. Druids were a pre-christian celtic society comprised primarily of philosophers, doctors, educators, astronomers etc..

Stonehenge however, appears to predate our understanding of the time frame for the Druids and therefore leaves little doubt that someone besides this celtic society is responsible for its construction.
