Thousands of sightings from around the world have been recorded of a "Wild Man" that appears to be as much apelike as human. The consistency with with the physical descriptions have been recorded leads many to conclude that there is a basis in fact for these sightings. Throughout the world, sightings on record support the long standing myths.

The many names that we have for these creatures are: Yeti, Bigfoot, Pongo, Sasquatch, Metoh, Skunk Ape, Momo, Kaptar, Yowie, Agogwe, Sehite, Alma, Yeren, and Abominable Snowman.

With so many varieties of similar description, the claims are difficult to put down. Even the described hair color of the creatures is consistent with the "natural" characteristic for the climate of the reporting locale.

To date.. One of the most compelling records by Roger Patterson and partner Bob Gimlin in which they filmed what appeared to be a female Sasquatch was declared by a family member to be a hoax. This may be an attempt to ease the burden of memory that is clouded by sceptics who may refer to the duo as "lunatics". However, even with the declaration of this as being a hoax, it does little to refute the enormous amount of evidence and number of accounts that support the theory of bigfoot's existence.
